THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME
The Flying T" is the nickname used to refer to a storied TCU logo. It was designed by TCU football player Marshall K. Harris (Class of 1979) in 1977.
Harris designed the Flying T logo for one of his art classes at TCU. He shared his design with his coaches and it ultimately became the official logo for all sports from then until the early 1990's. It remains a popular nostalgic logo and has gained new-found popularity with the founding of our club.
Marshall generously offered us the use of his logo and purchases of merchandise bearing it to benefit TCU student-athletes.
